Legal Systems Administration

Are you an organized person who has an interest in the legal world? Check out Legal Systems Administration, a one-year, three credit program, where you will learn all of the skills the legal profession is seeking in qualified candidates! You will learn in a real office environment, and you will even have the opportunity to become a Microsoft Office Specialist, a highly sought-after skill in today's business world!

Mock trial picThis is a one-year course designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in a legal office. Students learn how to prepare for trial, draft legal documents and coordinate office activities. Instruction will enable students to become highly effective with word processing, spreadsheets and database management. Students learn to operate office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and telephones. Internships with law firms, real estate and government offices are encouraged. Students will prepare for the following credentials or certifications: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) and the Workplace Readiness Skills for the Commonwealth Examination.
